The Modi Government and India's Rise to Industrialization

The salon invited Mao Keji, a research fellow at the International Cooperation Center for National Development and Reform Commission, to make the keynote speech. Mao shared his methodology, long-term observations and research on India's industrialization development from the perspectives of the attention-worthiness of Indian industrialization, the Modi government's policy for industrialization development and that policy’s future prospects. The salon was moderated by Prof. Zhai Kun, deputy director of the Institute of Area Studies, Peking University.
